Beginning in 2014, Shawna (Oliver) Lachance, one of Cassidy's former teammates and mentor, along with her twin sister Chelsey Oliver, and a kind group of Messalonskee High School Soccer graduates, have organized the annual “Shine On For Cass” Boys and Girls Alumni Soccer Game, held every Thanksgiving break.  The event united Messo alumni and current soccer players, as well as Cassidy's former teammates from the Central Maine United Premier Soccer team, to honor Cassidy's LOVE for soccer! Our last Shine On for Cass Alumni Game was played in 2024. Thank you to all who carried her Light for 10 Years and continue to SHINE!
