Thank you to all who helped with “Cassidy’s Birthday Book Drive” to Shine a Light on Childhood Literacy! We collected hundreds of children’s books during the month of August to help fill the shelves of Little Free Libraries located in Central Maine. In partnership with Augusta Literacy for ME, delivered books on Cassidy’s birthday August 31st. Shout out to Camden National Bank for being a collection site!
A Little Free Library is a “take a book, share a book” free book exchange in communities nationally and internationally. More than a dozen Little Free Libraries exist in central Maine, including a ShineOnCass Lending Library for children at the Alfond Youth and Community Center in Waterville.
Visit one of the local Little Free Libraries listed below. We will keep delivering! #shineoncass
