Know a service-minded Junior at Messalonskee, Waterville, Winslow or Lawrence High School? Nominate them for this year's ShineOnCass Junior Service Award! One student from each area high school will receive $100 to pay it forward in their communities and are recognized for their kindness at their school awards assembly. We're bringing new opportunities in youth mentoring to our community! Learn about our new collaborative mentoring program ShineOnCLASS at Oakland Schools, matching Williams Elementary School 4th graders with Atwood Primary School's 2nd grade students! We are proud to provide positive role modeling, enduring new friendships, and consistent interactions to help kids reach their greatest potential! LEARN MORE ABOUT SHINEONCLASS!
ShineOnCass and Alfond Youth & Community Center has partnered to create a new youth mentoring program called Shine Together! This exciting new initiative matches high school mentors (Bigs) one-to-one with youth grades K-5 (Littles) to foster meaningful connections, confidence, and community.

Kindness for Cass Bracelets
As a Kindergartener at Mount Merici, Cassidy made friendship bracelets for the people she loved. One of the recipients of her kindness was her treasured 6th grade "Big Buddy" Kaitlin. After carrying that special bracelet with their names on it for some 30 years, Kaitlin Marrache (now living in Florida!) wants to honor Cassidy by making them for others and spreading Cassidy's Kindness. We were honored to say the names of over 100 people we are remembering this holiday season at the 5th Annual ShineOnCass Blue Christmas Ceremony for grieving families and friends, and those who support them. Thank you for being with us.

They SHINE. Because of them, Cassidy’s light continues to reach farther than we ever dreamed — bringing kindness, joy, and opportunity to so many.
