Cassidy's Kids at Mount Merici Academy chose a constellation and name for a bright new light in the sky! Located in Virgo Constellation (for Cassidy's Zodiac Sign) they named the star "Shine Bright Cassidy Jean Charette"

2025 Kick for Cass was the largest high school soccer play day to date, with 11 girls and 11 boys teams participating from around the state! The event at Thomas College also included a Memorial Ceremony with Cassidy's Messalonskee and Central Maine United teams and current Messalonskee Girls participating in a walk out and #11 formation.

The 9th Annual Kick for Cass 2024 welcomed over 500 players, including 18 high school teams and 11 community teams to play 11 hours of soccer at Thomas College on July 13, 2024. The biggest Kick for Cass to date, raising well over $11,000 for the ShineOnCass Foundation, and providing scholarships for Central Maine United Soccer players. This is how we SHINE! Monica had the pleasure of meeting Cidny Bullens, the singer/songwriter of the podcast theme song "As Long as You Love (Scarlet Wings) as part of the interview!
